Roll Bar

Sneed's Speed Shop is proud to introduce our custom designed roll bar for the R53 MINI Cooper.  We just recently installed the final prototype in our MINI Cooper with great results.    This four-point roll bar is made of 1.5" .120 wall DOM mild steel tubing. It comes pre-assembled with high strength gusseting, and welds directly into the car for superiors strength. Includes hoop, down bars, cross bar, and seatbelt bar.  NASA, SCCA, and BMW CCA legal.  Works with or without sunroof.   We took extra care in designing this roll bar to limit the changes needed for the interior of the car.  Installation requires removal of the back seat and very minimal trimming of the plastic interior.  And both the driver's seat and passenger's seat retain all movement.    The basic SNEED MINI Roll Bar comes painted black.  We can also paint or powder-coat the roll bar any color for an additional fee

Oil Cooler Kit

Do you track your MINI? Want it to live a longer, more powerful life? Then the Sneed's Speed Shop Oil Cooler Kit is for you. We designed this kit for MINIs that drive on the street but spend time on the track too. After seeing MINIs coming off the track with 300+ oil temp, we knew something had to be done or we would be building a lot of engines. After shopping around for an oil cooler, we decided to build our own. By using a laser cut billet aluminum adapter plate, aluminum aircraft fittings, and a fin and tube cooler unit, we saved weight, added cooling capacity and made a heavier duty kit than others. We’ve been using this oil cooler on our MINI and customer’s MINIs for over two years.

This oil cooler kit is designed for 03-06 MINI Cooper S, 6 speed. The kit comes with all parts and instructions. It is not a universal type kit; it was designed and tested on US R53 MINIs. Some bumper brace trimming is required to fit the cooler unit on to the car.

Brake Cooler Kit

When racing your MINI, it's just as important to keep your brakes cool, as it to keep your motor cool. After all, the faster you can slow down, the faster you can get back on the gas. The MINI Cooper Brake Cooler Kit air cools the brake rotors and calipers by ducting air through the front bumper to the brake assembly itself. The kit includes a 3" high-temp brake duct for each front wheel and aluminum brackets for attachment. Designed for US R53 MINI Cooper S, years 2002-2006. Requires fog light removal.

Titanium Brake Kit

Rear Control Arms

These heavy-duty rear control arms strengthen another weak point in the set-up of MINI Coopers. They are made out of aluminum and feature heim joints connections. Replacing the rubber bushings with steel, these control arms are much stronger. Best of all, since they're adjustable, you can acheive more camber with your alignment.

Brake Lines

Stainless steel brake line kit made specifically for the US R53 MINI Cooper S, years 2002-2006. This kit includes four brake lines for direct replacement of the stock brake lines. These DOT stainless steel lines won't expand under hard use, so the fluid pressure for your brakes stay constant.
